LIMINAL

The session was amazing. I have ADHD, so initial social interactions can sometimes be a bit difficult for me, but the session was led so well that I felt comfortable and at ease surprisingly quickly. Safety and consent were clearly very important throughout, which made it easy to relax and be present.

There was such a lovely mix of fun, openness, and genuinely caring people. The whole experience had a surprisingly healing effect on me, and I left feeling lighter, more connected, and really happy that I went.

Great experience definitely will go again when I can

Had a blast! The attending group was mixed with different genders and ages, and overall a very welcome atmosphere (which I have grown fond of at Liminal). Shawn is a great instructor - I am fond of the way he paced his workshop on tying larger bodies and was open to questions of all sorts. Demystifying 'the ancient art of Shibari' will stick with me for a long time, as well as the way he spoke about tying in a way that highlights masculinity. Would love to attend another workshop of his in the future!

Beautiful space, casual vibes, feeling of ease and wonderful experience of slowly entering the world of ropes.
It was the first space I attended and felt absolutely welcome, left with a very harmonious feeling and my excitement about ropes only grew stronger.
Glad there are recurring events going on as I will be joining in the future again.

I celebrate how Play Partners experiment with new concepts. Impulse play is around for quite some time, but they are the first to combine this with welcoming sex positivity in the space. Together with the strong space holding and beautiful people there, as always, I had a great time at this event.

Ik ben hier zonder verwachtingen naar toe gegaan. Play Partners creeert een veilige en welkome omgeving waar je volledig jezelf kan en mag zijn. Ook de acceptatie door de mede-spelers is hartverwarmend. Het spel werd onder begeleiding van Joey langzaam opgebouwd met oefeningen en eindigde in vrij spelen. Dit kon soloplay, spelen met een ander of spelen met meerdere mensen zijn. Play gaat van stoeien tot intimate play en alles daartussen, alles met duidelijke afspraken en consent. Zelf hou ik van softplay en heb meer gekeken van het spel van anderen. Met Joey heb ik mogen afsluiten in een zacht energetisch spel. Zij voelt zo onrzettend goed aan wat iemand wil. Een ❤️ voor haar.

Voor mij was het een herontdekking van wat ik belangrijk vind, van wat mij blij maakt en waar ik plezier aan beleef.

I did not expect this to be so transformative. It was exactly what I needed in my life right now and I felt very much I belonged. Besides that I got this huge affection bomb which was very welcome and super nice. Also the playing together it this completely new way (for me) was such a revelation in playfulness. I would 100% go again. Would love to participate in more events of these people.

Werktouw
“Werktouw is een oud hollands woord bestaande uit het woord touw. Ookwel bekend als verbindingsmiddel om objecten vast te maken aan elkaar. In de kink scène woord dit ook gebruikt om mensen te binden. Met een ander woord shibari kan dit het beste of ook worden omschreven. Verbinding maken door mensen letterlijk vast te binden in de mooiste vorm van het woord“

Afgelopen week een avond gehad bij de Weekly peer rope Amsterdam. Daar heb ik een aantal technisch nieuwe dingen geleerd met touw. Een ontzettend leuke en relaxte vibe. Mensen samen, mensen alleen, alles en iedere gender door elkaar met als doel; knopen, leren, pleziermaken!

Het tweede deel van het woord is “Werktouw” is werken. “Werken is een woord in een diversiteit van interpretatie. je kan er moe van worden, allergisch voor zijn, energie van krijgen, bedreven in worden, in sommige gevallen verdien je er je geld mee. Maar vooral het stimulerende effect dat je er iets mee kunt bereiken stamt nog uit de jaren 1467.”
Of zoals de nieuwere generatie het zal benoemen 14 Six Seven. Nee allemaal onzin wat hierboven staat. Maar werken aan jezelf door een cursus, workshop te doen of juist rust te pakken omdat je lichaam dat nodig heeft is belangrijk.

Ik werd heel erg opgewonden van het feit dat ik veel weet maar mij ook nog zoveel te leren valt op het vlak van “knopen” dat ik aan mezelf ga werken. Dus nu zit ik thuis achter mijn laptoppie te “werken” aan mijn werk en tegelijk “werk” ik superleuk aan mijn “knoopjes”.

Want zoals een wijze dame mij afgelopen woensdag leerde; Niet leren en dan lol hebben. Door lol te hebben leer je het beste. Dank je wel Lil 😉

Wat een fijne beleving. Iedereen is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We waren voor de eerste keer en zijn echt met een open houding ontvangen.

It was an evening filled with many emotions for me. To be held and felt by so many people was very changing to my being. Although it was new and overwhelming at times, I felt the way the warm up led us into the cuddle puddle, the container that was created, and the physical space itself lended a huge hand to making it a safe space for me to feel. Liza and Kos held all of us with the upmost care, compassion, and real truth, leading and being apart of the journey we all were lucky enough to be apart of. If there is any thought in your mind that this practice might be for you, do it.

I really liked the event. I think Liza had a very nice clear structure in mind and followed it pretty well. The atmosphere was amazing, I really enjoyed it. Liza herself brought a lot of warmth and comfort in the event and I think it helped all other people to feel and radiate the same.
Also the place itself was well suited for the event, with a lot of soft surfaces and space.
I would appreciate a bit more free flow part, but that's not a deal breaker.

Vond het een ontzettend fijne en helende ervaring. Heel bijzonder hoe je met vreemden toch zo intiem kunt zijn via liefdevolle (platonische) aanraking. Bedankt allemaal voor jullie liefde en aandacht, ik ga deze ervaring niet snel vergeten en hoop dit vaker te mogen meemaken. En bedankt Liza en Koos voor de goede leiding ❤️🙏
