Kirtan Utrecht is een nieuwe muzikale community die een veilige omgeving faciliteert om via je stem gehoor te geven aan wat er in jou leeft. Alle stemmen - getraind of ongetraind, muzikaal of “niet muzikaal” - zijn welkom om zich gehoord te laten worden. Ook als je niet Nederlands spreekt, ben je van harte welkom.
Onze missie is om spiritualiteit op een grounded manier te delen met wie hier interesse in heeft. Naast de devotional, transachtige kwaliteiten van Kirtan, is Kirtan voor ons een manier om muzikale co-creatie toegankelijk te maken voor iedereen. Ook zien we het als een kans om je grenzen te verleggen en een gevoel van bevrijding te ervaren door je stem te laten horen.
Naast Kirtan verzorgen we voice liberation workshops en sound baths.

Kirtan Utrecht is a new musical community that provides a safe space to give voice to what lives inside of you. All voices — trained or untrained, musical or “not musical” — are welcome to be heard. Even if you don’t speak Dutch, you’re warmly invited to join us.
Our mission is to share spirituality in a grounded and down-to-earth way with anyone who feels drawn to it.
Beyond the devotional, trance-like qualities of kirtan, we see it as a way to make musical co-creation accessible to everyone. It’s also an invitation to explore your boundaries and experience a sense of freedom by expressing your voice.
In addition to kirtan, we offer voice liberation workshops and sound baths.
