DJ Socrates delivers spicy, layered Ecstatic Dance journeys, blending trippy organic, global rhythms, and live flute into a fiery ceremonial trip.
DJ Socrates began his musical journey in 2003 in Rotterdam's underground scene and found his true homecoming in 2016 within the Ecstatic Dance community. With his spicy, layered sound, he creates a deep, ceremonial connection with the dance floor.
His sets are a dynamic journey: flowing from cinematic soundtracks, nature sounds, and trippy downtempo electronica into rousing highs of melodic dub, Afro & Oriental rhythms, folktronica, and deep tribal bass. To add an extra organic dimension, Socrates blends live flute and effects directly into his sets. Get ready for a trip full of life, freedom, and fire!
