I Dare (You) Not: 5Rhythms Moving Sessions

About this event

I open the movement space in November with the investigation - what do we bring on the dance floor. Which intentions, what image, which body parts, what emotions, moves, styles are safe to showUP with. And even more intriguing - what do we not bring, what we judge as inappropriate, what we wish we could bring but do not dare, what we wish other people left at home, but we never mention.

It sometimes gets me by surprise that after all these years of dancing I still need a lots of courage and discipline to bring to dance floor some aspects of myself. And in the same time that is my highest mission - to hold dance floors where you can safely shapeshift and flow between different aspects of You, where you can express whatever in your life needs expressing in this point.

Bringing light of curiosity, let's dance.

❤ Mia
