Creative dance meet-up TIME

About this event

Every movement you make has a time. ⏳ Slow time, long time, fast time, hectic time, quality time. Every time has a quality to it and influences your movement.

In this creative dance meet-up we will explore the relation of movement and time. This practice allows you to observe how everything you do can be a meditation, an attention to how you embody time. You can also observe yourself in relation to the group, and choose to relate to another person’s time or stay in your own one. It’s a practice of feeling comfortable in your own “skin” and communicating whenever you choose to.

More specifically, we will start with a little ice-breaker game, then we’ll go into a breathing ritual to raise the energy, warm up the muscles to prepare for the main part of the workshop. Then we will explore different time qualities in movement, in single, couple, and group. The workshop is rounding up with a relaxation and a sharing round at the end.
