About this event

So many of us know how to hold everything. The deadlines, the people we love, the version of ourselves that keeps it all together. What we’ve often forgotten is what it feels like to be held.

This circle is a place to put some of that down.

For 3 hours, Nada and Ebru will guide you through movement, breathwork and simple relational practices. These are ways of being with other women that don’t need words to begin. We start by arriving in the body: shaking off the day, letting the breath slow down, noticing what’s actually here. From there we move, breathe and meet each other. Sometimes in pairs, sometimes as a whole circle, always at your own pace.

There’s nothing to achieve and no right way to feel. You can bring the part of you that’s strong and the part that’s tired of being strong. The part that longs to be seen and the part that would rather sit quietly at the edge. Every one of them has a place here. Every practice is an invitation, never a requirement.

When we’re with people who feel safe, the body gets the message that it can stand down a little. The shoulders drop. The breath gets deeper on its own. For us, that’s what sisterhood really means underneath the word. It isn’t agreeing on everything. It’s being with women who don’t need you to perform.

This circle is a place to put some of those old ways down and to remember a different way. Many of us came to this work because we were hungry for exactly this kind of connection and couldn’t find it. So we’re gathering women who want to keep showing up, for themselves and for each other, beyond one evening.

No experience with breathwork or movement needed. Just come as you are.
