The Desire Journey — Temple I
The Confession
"What have you never said out loud?"
18 September 2026 · Sint-Laurentiuskerk, Weesp · Doors open 16:30
There is a desire in you that has never had a voice.
Maybe you've felt it for years and never named it, not to a lover, not to a friend, not even fully to yourself. Maybe you've spoken around it, softened it, turned it into a joke so it couldn't be seen too clearly. Desire that isn't spoken doesn't go away. It waits in the body, and it shapes you from there whether you look at it or not.
The Confession exists for one purpose: to give your sensual and sexual desire a voice, out loud, in a room that will not flinch. Not to act on it. Not to perform it. To stand for it, to say "this is what I want" and let it be true, without apology, without the story that usually follows it.
This is shadow work. Following Jung, what we exile in ourselves doesn't disappear, it waits in the dark and runs us from there. Following Carolyn Elliott's existential kink, we work from one premise: your desire, even the parts you've judged hardest, is intelligent. It knows something.
Confessing it is the first act of reclaiming it. Tantra is how we bring that confession out of the mind and into the body, where desire actually lives.
Phase I: Feel. Before you can express desire, or shape it, or live from it, you have to be able to say it. Tonight is about building that muscle.
What the evening holds
🥰 Arrival - warm soup, candlelight, no agenda. The body settles before anything opens.
❤️🔥The Desire Circles — small circles, questions about desire. Joris opens Unfiltered, sensual, maybe sexual and always true. No response, only witnessing. You will say something out loud tonight that you have never said before.
🔥 The Guided exercises — finding where your unspoken desire lives in the body, locating the voice that hasn't dared to sound yet, releasing the belief that has kept it quiet, and the practice of being fully heard by yourself and another person.
🫦The Free Flow — This is where confession becomes exploration. Move through corners built for desire you may not even know you have yet.
Shibari — rope as a language of trust and surrender. Nothing has to be said; the body speaks through what it allows itself to receive.
Playfight — where resistance, strength, and power get to move safely between bodies. A place to push and be pushed back, to test what it feels like to meet someone else's force instead of always yielding to it. Not a fight. A conversation the body has when words run out, held, safe, and stopped the moment either person needs it to stop.
Massage — touch as pure receiving, with nothing to give back and nothing to perform. Let the body be read by someone else's hands and feel what it's been holding.
Cuddle — warmth and closeness without sexual charge. Sometimes the desire underneath the desire is simply to be held, skin to skin, without it meaning anything more than that.
Energetic Lovemaking — intimacy through presence and energy alone, no touch required. A way to find out how much charge can move between two people who are simply willing to look at each other.
Each corner is its own way of finding out what you're actually drawn to, when nobody is judging. You don't have to know what you want before you arrive.
The evening is built to open you, to discover what lives deep within you, what desire you've been carrying quietly, and to play with it, to feel it in the body instead of just thinking it.
And when something surfaces, in the rope, in the fight, in the hands, in the silence, you can always return to The Confession. Say it out loud. Let it be heard.
❤️ The Holding — the container closes as warmly as it opened. You are not sent back into the night alone.
What you'll take home
The felt experience of saying a true desire out loud and surviving it, being met instead of judged. That's the whole practice. Once you've said it once, in a room that held you, it gets easier to say it again, to the people who matter.
