This summer we've been busy searching for our new home base and we've decided to give the amazing Munthuys (old Muntgebouw) a shot. Larger dance area, great floor, excellent sound and visuals and even a private courtyard in a monumental building.
On top of that, it's our second birthday as we enter our third dance season with you all. We're excited to kick off this next dance season with a creative birthday surprise and dance to the tunes of our talented friend DJ Ruby.
To share this celebration with you, we have a special fun addition to the day:
- A FREE screen print (zeefdruk) on your favourite dance clothing piece.
If you would like a vibrant coloured 'FreeFlow' logo on your own t-shirt, tote bag, underwear, crop top, handkerchief or anything else cotton-ish, feel free to bring it along and come when the doors open to make your print! One of our lovely team members will screen print it on your personal item and hang it up to dry.
-> One item per person.
-> Bring your OWN item to screen print on. White or a light colour gives the best result.
-> Available til 12:00 (so it can be dry before you bring it back home)
-> Afterwards iron it at home to make in last longer
If you forget to bring an item, we have a limited number of Fairtrade Tote Bags (only 10) for sale for 5,-
DJ Ruby
Rubén, also known as Ruby or Rubydub, has always had a deep passion for dance and creating atmosphere. During his professional dance career, he was exposed to a wide range of musical styles that deeply influenced the mood and texture of dance theatre performances. This sparked his curiosity and opened his ears to how music can move people, both physically and emotionally.
For Rubén, every DJ set is an opportunity to build an immersive space. Blending rhythms, textures and live elements, he uses music as a language to invite people into their bodies. His sets are energetic, layered and intuitive, always encouraging movement, exploration and release. Make your chest wet!

WHAT MAKES THE DANCE 'ECSTATIC'?
An invitation to check in with yourself, to dance, move, enjoy yourself this Sunday morning!
Flow freely by expressing yourself through movement in a pure (without substances) and transforming way with respect to the people around you. The dance space is a phone-free and non-speaking area where we dance without shoes.
PLEASE NOTE:
For this day, we will have a photographer present. This is not common at the regular FreeFlow events, we would love to have some footage of this special day - the beginning of our third season. You can reply to the email that we’ll send the day after the event, if you don’t want to be seen in any published photos.
After the dance, you can relax at Florijn Gastrobar—also part of the Munthuys—to nourish and hydrate your body.
If you are unable to make it due to financial reasons, please send us a message so we can explore the possibilities :) No need to be shy.
We welcome everyone from diverse ethnicities, cultures, gender identities and beliefs.
Come as you are, come whole.
See you then!
