About this event
Join us for a slow Saturday of connection, presence, and conscious touch. This is not a training, but more of a workshop & practice space - come as you are and with what you already know or completely new to the practice. We receive & give from there 🤲🏼
We’ll begin by sharing ceremonial cacao in a welcome circle, before exploring the ancient art of Thai Yoga Massage together. Than you will be given some techniques to practice - depending on the level of experience and areas you want to work on. Some Saturday we might focus on hips and spine, next on shoulders or internal organs… I will show you interesting transitions as well as different positions and explain about principles of touch. Than we will practice what we learned and see how the flow of the afternoon evolves ✨ There will be no rush on learning, no script, no training hours… simply being and meditating in motion.
This is a space to slow down, learn, ask questions, exchange touch with awareness, rest, and experience the beauty of both giving and receiving.
Whether you’re completely new or already experienced, you’re warmly welcome. Come with curiosity, an open heart, and a willingness to connect. Together we’ll create a calm, supportive space to deepen into these timeless practices.
WHAT IS THAI YOGA MASSAGE?
Since ancient times, Thai massage has been considered a spiritual practice, closely connected with the teachings of Buddha. It is rooted in the principles of presence, attention, intention, and METTA - loving kindness and compassion.
Traditional Thai yoga massage works with the concept of energy pathways (sen lines), influenced by yoga philosophy and traditional Asian medicine. Through mindful pressure, rhythmic movement, rocking, stretching, and conscious touch, Thai massage supports relaxation, circulation, and a deeper connection with the body.
Thai yoga massage is much more than a massage technique. It is an opportunity to slow down, listen, and create a relationship with the body based on respect rather than force. The practice is traditionally performed on a futon on the floor, fully clothed and without oil.

ABOUT NICA
Nica has a master's degree in psychology, more than a decade of experience teaching yoga, and has been practicing Thai yoga massage and giving treatments & workshops in Europe and Asia for past 8 years.
Her approach is inspired by authentic Thai bodywork practices from the Lahu village in Thailand, as well as studies and experiences from different countries across Europe, India, Thailand, and the Philippines.
With a background in psychology, yoga, meditation, breathwork, and somatic practices, she combines traditional wisdom with modern understanding of the nervous system and embodiment.
“I see the body as a mirror of our inner world. The body is constantly communicating with us, showing us what is happening beneath the surface. Often, the body already knows what the mind is trying to understand. Through conscious touch, breath, and deep presence, we create the conditions for the body to return to safety, balance, and inner harmony.”
