About this event
This is not a workshop. Not a festival. Not a party. It's a living temple: a full day of ritual, connection, play and open free flow. Sacred and mischievous in the same breath.
✨ The Concept
Play and ritual aren't opposites; they're the same ancient impulse. Before there was religion, before there was culture, there was play. Sacred, serious, transformative play.
Ludere: to play. To perform. To act. To trick. To jest.
Temple Ludamus is built on that foundation. A space where mischief and ceremony belong in the same breath. Where the sacred meets the giddy. Where you are invited to be utterly, completely yourself, and to witness others do the same.
🌿 The Journey
Every Temple Ludamus moves in two halves. The afternoon is preparation: we arrive, connect with ourselves and the theme, and build the foundation for the ritual together. What that looks like changes with every edition.
This edition, we gather for the Ritual of the Cailleach, the ancient Celtic deity of winter. In the afternoon we set our intentions, get to know each other, and do some Silly Shadowwork: meeting the sticky emotions in a playful, embodied way.
After a shared potluck dinner, the temple opens. We connect with the altar, with each other, and journey within to let go of what we don’t want to carry into winter, together, held by the group.
From there, the space opens into free flow with different corners of the room holding different invitations. Follow what calls you. In this space you are welcome to continue playing, observing, connecting in whatever way you are drawn to: whether that be playfully, sensually, lovingly, erotically.
We close together.
🌟 What makes this temple different
— Play as the red thread: not as relief from the ritual, but as its very foundation
— Co-creative ceremony: the ritual is shaped by everyone in the room
— Full day container: from afternoon through night, we build this world together
This is a sober, consent-based, sex-positive space: not because anything sexual is promised or expected, but because those parts of you don’t have to be left outside.
🕯️ Who this is for
Lovers of ritual and ceremony who are ready to take themselves less seriously ánd more seriously at the same time. Experienced temple-goers. Conscious, embodied adults. Those drawn to play as a spiritual practice, not just an afterthought.
This space welcomes all expressions and states of being. Come as you are.
Experienced temple-goer? You are invited to leave your template at the door; release your expectations of what a temple 'should' look like.

"The feeling of being apart together in an exceptional situation, of sharing something important, of mutually withdrawing from the rest of the world; retains its magic beyond the duration of the individual game."
