The Secret Birthday Bash - Outdoor Ecstatic rave with Potluck BBQ

Dance. Fire. Games. Food sharing. All the good stuff.

We're celebrating life, summer and each other. Nancy and Sjoerd are celebrating both of their birthdays together and you're all invited to join us for the celebration! We've found a beautiful location on the edge of Enschede, in the midst of the trees, with a fire pit, BBQ and plenty space to chill and unwind. It's going to be awesome!

We're starting the day off with an ecstatic rave, outside, dancing between the trees. Sjoerd will guide the introduction to get you all in the dancing mood, and Nancy will make her DJ debut as Fancy Nancy behind the decks. We're providing the usual tea, water, fruit and snacks for during the dance. During the dance we only communicate with the body, we stay sober, shoes are allowed outside though!

After the dance we're lighting the fire for a BBQ, take something with you you'd like to share, a salad, something for on the BBQ, bread and dips, you name it. After the rave the space is open for everyone to contribute whatever they like. There's space for people to play music (instruments or DJ), play with flow toys or share stories or workshops. We're organizing spaces for people to play games, feel free to bring your own as well.

14:00 - Contact improvisation workshop with Sjoerd, going into the rave
14:45 - DJ set by Fancy Nancy
16:45 - Landing by Sjoerd
17:00 - ??:?? - Chilling, BBQ, Fire, games, CoCreation

If you're joining the rave, please be there before 13:45. If you're not joining the rave, you're welcome to join at 17:00.

As we're celebrating our birthday, there's no tickets for this event. Select a free ticket to let us know you're joining. A donation is appreciated to share the costs.
