About this event
Lambada 11-week course in Amsterdam 🧡💚
The only beginner Lambada course in the Netherlands this autumn. Don't miss it!! 🔥
Lambada is the dance that started it all... Born on the Brazilian beaches in the 80s, this is where passion, fire and connection were turned into movement. Fast, sensual, rhythmic; Lambada grabs you and doesn't let go. And once you feel it, you'll wonder where it's been your whole life 🥰
This autumn, for the first time, we're bringing a full beginner Lambada course to Amsterdam. We'll dive deep for 11 weeks and we'll take you from absolute zero to dancing with confidence, connection and fire 🌟
After this course, you know how to…
✨ Step into any Lambada AND Brazilian Zouk social and actually dance, not just survive it!
✨ Move with your partner in a way that feels natural, connected and effortless
✨ Find the rhythm and stay in it, even when the music changes
✨ Lead or follow without overthinking; your body just knows
✨ Use your whole body: from your feet to your hips to your head
✨ Play with different speeds, directions and dynamics on the dance floor
✨ Feel the difference between dancing at someone and dancing with someone
✨ Walk into a room full of dancers and feel like you belong there 💛

Who is this for?
Anyone who's curious 🔥
Beginners, improvers and Lambada revivers. We invite you all to join the new Lambada Community of The Netherlands!
You don't need dance experience and you don't need a partner, as we will be rotating during class. You don't need to know anything about Lambada, Brazilian Zouk or any other dance. You just need your excitement to learn something new and the willingness to show up.
Already dancing? Even better! Lambada will make everything you already do feel richer, more grounded and more alive.
This course is for the ones who are done watching from the sidelines and would love to start their dance journey, at any age! The curious ones who want to feel it for themselves, the ones who say yes before they feel ready 🧡💚
