About this event
Perhaps you recognise that touch can move faster than feels good for you. That you need a little more time at each step to let your nervous system settle, to sense safety, to actually arrive. This workshop is made for exactly that.
On Sunday afternoon May 31st, we're creating a space where slowness isn't something to overcome. It's the whole point. A long, unhurried afternoon of conscious platonic touch, where every step gets the room it deserves.
🌬️ What is a cuddle workshop? 🕊️
A cuddle workshop is a loving setting where we connect with ourselves and others through mindful touch. We focus on conscious, caring touch that is entirely non-sexual. We work with elements such as body awareness, mindfulness, consent, breathwork, and co-regulation. At the centre of it all is attunement to yourself, so that every experience you have is one that genuinely feels good to you.
🌬️ What to expect 🕊️
We begin with time to arrive. To breathe, to settle, to let the outside world soften a little. From there, we turn inward first, reconnecting with our own bodies before we reach toward anyone else.
Contact builds slowly and with great care. Sometimes through eye contact held a little longer. Sometimes through the simple warmth of a hand. Each exercise is given space to be fully felt before we move on. There is no rush to get anywhere. The pace itself is the practice.
You are free to participate, pause, or simply be present at any moment. Your yes and your no are both completely welcome here, and we return to that gently and often. If something feels overwhelming or unclear, our assistants are present to help you regulate and find your way back to yourself.
🌬️ Why touch? 🕊️
Platonic, conscious touch is one of the most direct ways to bring your nervous system back into a sense of safety. It helps your body release tension and soften stress. It supports the release of oxytocin and serotonin, hormones that carry warmth, connection, and inner calm. And it helps you feel your own boundaries more clearly and express them with ease. Skills that travel beautifully into everyday life.
🌬️ Who is this for? 🕊️
This workshop is for you if you know that touch tends to move faster than feels good for you. Whether you've been to cuddle workshops before or this is your first time, you are welcome exactly as you are. This workshop is open to all genders and all adults (18+).
