About this event

📆𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝟒𝐓𝐇 FRIDAY 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇

No pressure, no performance
just music, movement, and space to be yourself.

Different from ecstatic dance, the raves are a playground for DJ’s to experiment and for us dancers to explore.
The Ecstatic Rave is in its core still about simply dancing freely together
the vibe is relaxed, grounded, and easy going.

Expect new types of music, different intensities, and unfamiliar experiences.

We created it out of a love for dancing and connecting through movement.


🌀𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖

19:30 Doors open
19:45 Opening Circle + Facilitation
20:0 Ecstatic Rave
22:00 Closing circle & Hang out

We begin with a short facilitated opening to help everyone arrive in the space and gently connect with the group.

Then the DJ guides a 2 hour musical journey through different rhythms and energies.

We end with a closing circle, a moment to lie down, relax, integrate, and share some snacks

🎟️ 𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐓𝐒
This is a contribution-based dance.

A contribution between €10 and €20 keeps the space accessible and sustainable.

You’re welcome to give more or less, depending on your experience and your current capacity. This way of contributing allows the space to stay accessible, while honouring the value of the experience

• No talking on the dance floor

• No alcohol or substances
• Respect your own and others’ boundaries
• Move however your body wants to move

The dance floor is a shared space of presence and respect.

You can dance alone, connect through movement, rest, observe, or simply let the music move you.

Join with friends or come alone and leave with new connections!

Common Ground is a community space in Amsterdam dedicated to authentic connection, embodied practices and conscious gatherings.
