About this event

We create a safe container for group nervous system co-regulation with a clear set of values, loving agreements, and healthy platonic boundaries.

We start with a touch positive consent training that includes clear non-verbal signaling similar to contact improvisational dance, however slower in motion. We also demonstrate what a freeze or fawn response looks like, so everyone can recognize that mixed signals are always a no. We also celebrate, honor and thank each person for their no. Appreciating a no makes us available to be closer someone who is a full body yes. We practice asking for a yes to weave into the cuddle puddle by tapping an arm or leg. If the response is a yes, then the person will lift their arm or a leg to create a welcoming space to cuddle into.

Conscious Cuddling facilitates sensitivity, and full attunement to yourself and others. This is a place to open your heart and experience unconditional love and acceptance 💖 We are exploring being in authentic somatic connection rooted in respect and consent. This is in an explicitly non-sexual container. We request you come sober - no mood altering substances. Please arrive on time. There is no late entry unless you have attended a prior event and completed the consent training.
