Liften, gelift worden en landen kan voor sommigen spannend op een inspirerende manier zijn en voor anderen spannend op een intimiderende manier — of allebei tegelijk. In deze workshop verkennen we deze skills, inclusief de beleving ervan, op een speelse manier binnen Contact Improvisatie partnerwerk.
We benaderen liften en het ondersteunen van gewicht als iets dat op alle niveaus van de verticale ruimte kan plaatsvinden. Dat kan laag en dicht bij de vloer zijn, of hoger, bijvoorbeeld in balans op de schouder van een partner.
We werken met verbinding en momentum en richten ons op principes die moeiteloosheid en veiligheid ondersteunen tijdens het bewegen door de ruimte. Doe mee als je nieuwsgierig bent naar deze speelse en dynamische elementen van wat Contact Improvisatie te bieden heeft.
Deze workshop maakt deel uit van een reeks: workshops die meerdere ingangen bieden tot de CI-praktijk, waarin somatisch bewustzijn, technische verkenning en creatieve improvisatie met elkaar worden verweven. Verspreid over zes verschillende thema’s beweegt het werk zich tussen luisteren en handelen, structuur en spel, stilstand en momentum. Deelnemers worden uitgenodigd hun verbinding met het lichaam te verdiepen, hun bewegingsvocabulaire uit te breiden en hun sensitiviteit in contact met anderen te verfijnen.

Flying and landing can feel exciting in an inspiring way for some, and exciting in an intimidating way for others — or both at the same time. We will explore these skills in this workshop - including their lived experience - in a playful way within the Contact Improvisation partnerwork.
We approach flying and supporting weight as something that can happen on all levels of vertical space. This may take place low and close to the floor, or higher up, for example balanced on a partner’s shoulder.
We will work with connection and momentum, focusing on principles that support both effortlessness and safety while moving through space. Join us if you are curious about these playful and dynamic elements of what Contact Improvisation has to offer.
This workshop is part of a series - workshops that offer multiple entry points into the CI practice, weaving together somatic awareness, technical exploration, and creative improvisation. Across six distinct themes, the work moves between listening and action, structure and play, stillness and momentum. Participants are invited to deepen their connection to the body, expand their movement vocabulary, and refine their sensitivity in contact with others.
