Down-to-earth doula and rewilding coach organising workshops and activities for adults and children.
Mama Magick is the creative enterprise of Tamara. Tamara is a birth and pregnancy doula, a fire-master, a forager, a gardener, a cook, a craft-maker, a mother, a teacher, a volunteer, an event organiser and an interdisciplinary social scientist. Her work is flexible, moving with the seasons and the ebbs and flows of life.
The golden thread in Tamara’s work is recalling adults to the wild and instilling in young children a deep and gentle familiarity with the natural world around them.

In the urban environment this takes the form of drawing people of all ages outdoors, learning to see and be with wilderness in cracks of pavement and city parks, working with and empowering the instinct and the wild within us, and building conscious awareness of our domestication and empowered potential.
Working together with people brings out the best in her.
Tamara is most at peace outdoors, clambering about in trees or rummaging through the bushes or in the soil, spending time with plants. The more untamed the plant, the more it calls her. Inevitably, her work finds her most often outdoors: in Flevopark, Anna’s Tuin en Ruigte, Frankendael, Oost Indisch Groen, Diemenpolder, and a spattering of street gardens in Amsterdam Oost.
Tamara is part of the core management team at Common Ground, Zeeburgerdijk 265. She hosts the weekly Entrepreneur’s Sharing Circle, a monthly Ecstatic Dance for Humans of All Ages (dancing-with-children-without-talking), and supports event-holders to grow through sharing what moves them deeply with the Common Ground community.
When inspiration and/or collaboration strikes she also offers workshops exploring spirit animals or instinct in pregnancy and birth, storytelling dinners about menstruation, foraging expeditions, whittling sessions, and various children’s activities.
