About this event
Sometimes, we don’t need to do more.
We simply need to slow down.
As autumn settles in, nature invites us to soften our pace, turn inward and make space for rest. This Lu Jong & Bağlama session is an invitation to step away from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with your body, your breath and a sense of ease.
Through the gentle movements of Lu Jong, we release tension, awaken the body and create space to breathe and simply be. The practice will be accompanied by the warm, soothing sounds of the bağlama, played live by Metin.
Together, movement and music create a space to slow down, unwind and reconnect with your natural rhythm.
No need to achieve.
No need to rush.
Just a moment to pause, breathe and recharge.
🧘🏻♀️ Lu Jong
Lu Jong is an ancient Tibetan movement practice in which movement, breath and awareness come together.
Through gentle yet powerful movements, we create space in both body and mind. We slow down, move and reconnect with our own nature.
This 120-minute session offers extra space to deepen, feel and become present with whatever is moving within you.
🎶 Live music
During the session, we will be accompanied by the sounds of the bağlama, a traditional Turkish string instrument.
Metin will accompany our practice with his music, adding another layer to the experience of movement, stillness and connection.
🍵 Closing together
After the session, there will be time to relax and enjoy Turkish tea and something sweet together.
A moment to land, connect and gently close the evening together.
✨ This session is open to everyone.
No previous experience with Lu Jong is needed. The movements are accessible and can be adapted to your own body and abilities.
Come as you are.
