18.30 Ending together

DESCRIPTION
Come join us for a playful dance workshop and jam! Let’s explore movement in relation to others, the floor, and the space.
Each session will start with a workshop in which we tune in with the basic principles of CI; sharing weight, touch and body awareness, rolling point of contact, and maybe lifting a partner.
After the workshop there is the jam where you can play, practice and dance in your own way.

Every Body is welcome, no matter how much experience you have.

PLACE
Travertijnstraat 12 in Groningen https://maps.app.goo.gl/SoEQMkxCnGLZQzL2A
Directions: Use Google Maps to get to the exact spot if it's your first time. In text: look for the signs: a big pole at the beginning of the parking, and the signs on the right side of the building. Go around the outside of the building with your bike or car (or boots) till you can't go anymore; there you will find the dance space.

PARKING (FREE)
There are 2 or 3 parking spots exactly next to the dance space. Or a whole parking lot when you enter the area of Travertijnstraat 12. All free of charge. Bikes can be parked right outside the dance space.

WHAT TO BRING:
– Clothes that are easy to dance and move in
– A bottle of water might be handy; there will be water/tea/snacks available
– Take off things like bracelets, necklaces, belts with hard (metal) points, because you can hurt yourself or others with it if you roll over someone

NOTE
You can eat at the Free Café afterwards in the same building, enjoy food cooked by volunteers for free or a donation. Opens at 18.00 till 19.00
