Aerial Yoga

About this event

This class takes place on the first Sunday of every month. Carry and Jo conduct the class together, with one of them taking the lead. Jo teaches in English, while Carry teaches in Dutch or bilingually, if desired.

Aerial flow is a form of yoga in an aerial cloth. You hang, swing and use the canvas to support and deepen your yoga postures.
A game with the canvas, your body and gravity. Well-known yoga postures are used in the class, perhaps in a different or more challenging way. You develop strength and flexibility in a playful way. There are always one or two inverted postures in class, supported by the canvas, so that you learn to release tension in the back, pelvis and upper body. We end the lesson lying in the canvas, an ultimate feeling of relaxation, gently swaying or silently!

The lessons are accessible to everyone.
Request: Please weara shirt with sleeves (short is OK) to keep the towels clean! Armpits come into contact with the cloths a lot. Leggings are more comfortable than loose-fitting pants.
