About this event
𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘅 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹
This workshop is designed for anyone who has a curious inner artist, waiting for an invitation and permission to express and create. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
You are someone that gets tickled by these questions:
- How can the Soul Sex practice treated as an artistic process open an even deeper connection with your aliveness?
- What does it mean for you to be sexually alive in your body?
- Where do the artistic process and sexuality intersect?
- How can the artistic process be a tool to access sexual aliveness? The arousal that happens when we’re immersed or we witness authentic expression. Seeing someone in their element.
This special edition of Soul Sex explores the place where artistic expression becomes a pathway to aliveness: the moment when someone is so deeply in their element that something begins to move, awaken, or vibrate. What if art could be a key, among other keys, that opens us towards our own sexuality?
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸
We will explore how different artistic processes can become a practice of connecting with the body's vitality, pleasure, imagination, and desire.
Rather than asking How can I be sexy?, we might ask:
What makes me come alive?
What wants to be expressed through me?
What happens in my body when I give something my full attention?
Where do creativity and sexuality already intersect in my life?
Through 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮, 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and other forms of 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, we will explore what happens when we soften the pressure to perform.
Often, when the ice of performance begins to melt, something more sensual and alive becomes available.
Not because we are trying to become sexier. But because we are becoming more ourselves.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁?
When we say Art we really mean ‘artistic process’ and principles of ‘play’- randomness, mistakes, holding complexities without ‘fixing’, seeking beauty, alchemising things
The artistic process brings us into contact with sensation, imagination, vulnerability, desire, and the simple experience of being deeply absorbed in something.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
Feel curious about the relationship between creativity and sexuality.
Want to explore expression beyond ideas of performance or perfection.
Are interested in expanding your understanding of what sexuality can include.
Feel drawn to movement, voice, art, play, or embodied exploration.
𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵:
Exercises you can use to keep the practice alive.
A wider understanding of your own sexual aliveness.
New ways of connecting creativity and embodiment.
Greater freedom around expression and being witnessed.
A deeper relationship with pleasure, attention, and intentionality.
And perhaps a renewed curiosity about the art of being alive.
