Dear Relatives!
Wij hebben de grote eer om Sundancer Kristofer TwoFeathers in Nederland te mogen ontvangen. Hij gaat al 40 jaar de Inipi (zweethut) in en werd in de Verenigde Staten als jonge jongen in de Lodge opgenomen.
Op 5, 6 en 7 november komt hij naar Avani om Native flutes en drums te bouwen. Ook zal hij tijdens deze dagen verschillende traditionele Lakota-zweethutten leiden.
♡ Hoe zien de dagen eruit?
Donderdag & vrijdag – De Native flute bouwen
In het geluid van de vier winden stroomt de stem van een liefdeslied. Dat liefdeslied bezingt de wijsheid van allen die vóór ons hebben gelopen, van allen die nu lopen en van hen die wachten om geboren te worden. Een fluit maken die tot leven komt onder onze handen betekent haar doordringen van de kracht die opkomt uit ons hart. Terwijl we onze adem geven aan de fluiten die uit onze handen geboren worden, kunnen we dat liefdeslied horen en ons opnieuw verbinden met eeuwenoude wijsheid. Iedere deelnemer neemt een zelfgemaakte fluit mee naar huis; tijdens de workshop leren we ook hoe je erop speelt.
Zaterdag – Een Native drum bouwen
De drum is onze hartslag, die van onze moeder en de hartslag van Moeder Aarde, in harmonie met het universum. We maken drums van eland-, herten- of koeienhuid, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid, en de drumstok om mee te bidden. Samen zenden we onze stem uit om de vier winden en de krachten van het universum aan te roepen, zodat onze goede intentie in de pasgeboren drums wordt gelegd.
Begeleiding – Lakota Sundancer Kristofer TwoFeathers
Kristofer TwoFeathers geeft al 25 jaar leiding aan drumworkshops, zweethutten, vastenceremonies en ceremoniële dansen in Europa, Noord-Amerika en Zuid-Amerika. Hij is sundancer uit de Lakota-traditie en heeft geleerd van medicijnmannen en -vrouwen uit talrijke Native American tradities.
Elke avond gaan we de baarmoeder van Grootmoeder binnen om het leven te vieren in de Inipi-ceremonie.
Prijzen:
€ 740 – Het hele weekend, inclusief overnachtingen, het bouwen van een traditionele fluit én een drum + drie Inipi's
€ 440 – Inclusief overnachtingen, het bouwen van je eigen Native flute & twee Inipi's
€ 350 – Inclusief overnachting (zaterdag op zondag), het bouwen van je eigen Native (zweethut)drum & één Inipi

Wat betreft eten; we komen samen als één familie en iedereen neemt eten mee voor de tafel, potluck-style.

Dear Relatives!
We have the great honor to receive Sundancer Kristofer TwoFeathers in the Netherlands. He has been in the Inipi (Sweat Lodge) for 40 years and was taken into the Lodge in the US as a young boy.
On November 5-6-7 he will come to Avani to build Native Flutes & Sweatlodge Drums. Also he will lead several traditional Lakota Sweatlodges during those days.
♡ What do the days look like?
Thursday & friday - Building the Native flute
In the sound of the four winds flows the voice of a love song. That love song sings the wisdom of all those who have walked before, all those who walk now, and those who await their turn to be born. Making a flute that comes to life from our hands means infusing it with the strength that arises from our hearts,. As we give our breath info the flutes born from our hands we can hear that love song, reconnecting to ageless wisdom. Each participant takes home a flute made with their own hands; during the workshop, we also learn how to play it.
Saturday - Building a Native Sweatlodge Drum
The drum is our heart beat, our mother’s and the heartbeat of Mother Earth, in harmony with the universe. We will make drums with elk, deer or cow hide depending upon availability and the drum stick to pray with the drum. Together we will send our voice to call in the four winds and powers of the universe to instill our good intent into our newborn drums.
Guidance - Lakota Sundancer Kristofer TwoFeathers
Kristofer Twofeathers has lead drum workshops, sweat lodges, fasting ceremonies and ceremonial dances in Europe, north America and south america for the last 25 years. He is a sundancer from the Lakota tradition who has learned from medicine men and woman from numerous native American traditions.
Every evening we'll go into Grandmothers womb to celebrate life through Inipi Ceremony.

€740 - All weekend - including overnight stays, building a traditional flute and a drum + three Inipi's
€440 - Including overnight stays, building your own Native flute & two Inipi's
€350 - Including overnight stay (saturday on sunday), building your own Native (sweatlodge) drum & one Inipi
We come together as one family and everyone brings food to the table, potluck style.
