HARMONIUM FOUNDATIONS CURSUS
Van kennismaken naar zelfstandig(er) spelen
TAAL: De cursus wordt in het Nederlands of Engels gegeven, afhankelijk van de samenstelling van de groep.
In de Harmonium Foundations Cursus bouwen we voort op wat je tijdens de INTRODUCTIE WORKSHOP* hebt geleerd in een kleine, vaste groep.
Vier lessen geven je de tijd om te herhalen, te oefenen en steeds een volgende laag toe te voegen. We werken aan de samenwerking tussen adem, stem, vingers en blaasbalg, breiden je repertoire uit en staan uitgebreider stil bij de betekenis en intentie van de mantra's die we spelen.
Ook besteden we aandacht aan misschien wel het belangrijkste onderdeel: hoe zorg je ervoor dat je thuis daadwerkelijk achter je harmonium gaat zitten? Je ontwikkelt stap voor stap een practice die bij jou en je leven past.
Je werkt onder andere aan:
– meer gemak en motoriek in je vingers
– adem, stem en blaasbalg
– nieuwe mantra's en hun betekenis
– spelen vanuit aandacht en intentie
– zelfstandig(er) kunnen spelen
– een regelmatige practice thuis

De INTRODUCTIE WORKSHOP is een laagdrempelige kennismaking met het harmonium om te ontdekken of het iets voor je is.
Dit is het vertrekpunt voor iedereen die nog niet eerder op het instrument heeft gespeeld. Deze workshop bied ik ook regelmatig aan. Check m'n andere events!
Mocht je al wel ervaring hebben en twijfelen of deze cursus iets voor je is, neem dan gerust contact met me op. Dan kunnen we even sparren of je baat hebt bij deze cursus of juist de Harmonium & Kirtan lessen en/of losse privélessen.

HARMONIUM FOUNDATIONS COURSE
From fist introduction to playing (more) independently
In the Harmonium Foundations Course, we build on what you learned during the INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP* in a small, consistent group.
Four classes give you the time to repeat, practise and gradually add another layer. We work on the coordination between breath, voice, fingers and bellows, expand your repertoire and take more time to explore the meaning and intention behind the mantras we play.
We’ll also focus on perhaps one of the most important parts: how do you actually get yourself to sit down at your harmonium and practise at home? Step by step, you’ll develop a practice that fits you and your life.
Among other things, you’ll work on:
– more ease and dexterity in your fingers
– breath, voice and bellows
– new mantras and their meaning
– playing with attention and intention
– playing (more) independently
– developing a regular practice at home

The INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP is an accessible introduction to the harmonium, giving you the chance to discover whether the instrument is for you.
It’s the starting point for anyone who hasn’t played the harmonium before. I offer this workshop regularly as well. Check my other events!
