Mary Magdalene was a water priestess, part of an ancient lineage of women who knew the sacredness of water The first thing that shaped you wasn’t language, it was the water of your mother’s womb. Before you ever spoke a word, you were held in a living field of water, feeling, sensing, receiving.
Long before modern science tried to explain it, the Magdalene lineage and the water priestesses of ancient cultures understood that water is not just physical, it is sacred, responsive, and alive with memory. They honoured water as the original intelligence, the carrier of life, emotion, and spirit. To them, water was not something to use, but something to listen to. Something to pray and sing with. Something to remember through.Mermaids, Dragons, & the “Mary” Priestesshood: The words Mary, Mari, Mar, & Mer, in ancient Egyptian, Sumerian, Semitic, & Indo-European tongues, mean “mother,” “beloved,” “sea,” “feminine light.” These were priestess titles.
The Mer-Marys were water priestesses, guardians of sacred springs & womb-like seas, often initiates of the water dragon mysteries, ancient rites linked to serpent wisdom & the creative life-force coiled in the deep. Before we take our first breath, we are held in water. The womb is our first world: a living ocean where rhythm, emotion, and signal are constantly exchanged. This is where memory begins.
The womb is the first temple of water, the first initiation into life. And the body remembers what the mind cannot. Yet these same waters that carry imprint also carry the power to heal. We komen samen op een magisch & mystiek groot getijden strand, waar het heel rustig is. Waar het zand is stevig en heerlijk om op te dansen. Waar we dansen dichtbij het water & in het water, wervelend met de zachte stroming..met onze blote voeten in het zand

- handdoek (en evt. badkleding voor als je een duikje wilt nemen)
- vrouwelijk kleding waarin je je mooi voelt en vrij in beweegt
