Two-day Foundation 1: Honest Expression and Empathic Listening

In this two-day training, you will learn the basic model of Nonviolent Communication, based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg. You will explore what is truly important to you and learn how to express it honestly in a way that others can understand, and how to clearly ask for what you need. After the two-day training, you will also know how to listen to someone else in a way that helps them feel truly heard.
In Foundation 1, the focus is on getting to know the model and the elements that contribute to connection — Observations, Feelings, Needs, Requests, Self-compassion, Listening to judgments (choices), and Empathic Listening. You’ll have the opportunity to practice with your own real-life situations.
