"Power-Over" is a way of using and receiving power that we experience everyday from the systemic structure of the city to the micro-ineractions in our close relationships. It's the "getting it my way" approach, the forcing, the rule, the "no matter how you feel". Exercising "Power-With" means to shift towards holding my reality adn yours at the same time, becoming acquainted with not-knowing and thus open to new, unexpected results.
🤸♂️ 𝗔 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆, 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗜 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄.
In this session, we’ll explore the tension between power and care, resistance and flow, through playful and dynamic activities. We’ll train both physical and relational intelligence, learning to trust your body’s intelligence over mental control when quick, embodied decisions are needed in constantly changing movement landscapes.
𝗪𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼:

• Experience power and care as complementary forces
• Transform resistance into play, dialogue, and flow
• Navigate space and dynamics with a relaxed readiness and fun
‼️𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 of Tangi Playfight. Rituals will be briefly mentioned, but not fully disclosed. ‼️

Attend an Introduction to Playfight by Elena in Amsterdam. We will not introduce Playfight in this workshop so we expect everyone to have followed a Tangi Playfight introduction before joining.
Elena & Erica have both years of background in 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: we’ll lightly integrate the movement experience with expanding our self-awareness and communication skills.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 to give yourself time to land, put your delicious food in the fridge (we have 1 hot plate to warm it up if needed), and get acquainted with the space before we start. If you came by car, street parking around the venue is free on Sunday.
