This is a special mat Pilates class, set within the magnetic and grounding energy of the Horse Country Club, Ibiza.
Maintaining balance, control and focus to create harmony with the horse’s motion requires strength, co-ordination, rhythm and a strong powerhouse. This is where Pilates is the perfect tool for the rider.
This Pilates session is designed to support riders develop stability without rigidity, mobility without collapse, and co-ordination between the upper and lower body.
We focus on free lateral breathing, a neutral yet mobile pelvis and spine, lengthening and opening the hips and inner thighs, core strength, and improved proprioception and symmetry.
We finish with yin yoga asanas for full fascia release and relaxation as we listen to the sound of the birds.
Designed with horse riders in mind, but also suitable for non-riders and anyone looking for an all-round Pilates workout outdoors in nature with the magic of the horses, dogs and chickens keeping us company. Animal lovers only!
